In a country where car shows are usually about girls and not cars anymore, it is somewhat discouraging for some of us who want to see cars to go to said shows anymore. I'm not saying that the girls are bad, but sometimes, it just goes overboard. And then, we hear of GRIP Auto Show all the way in Alabang.
Honestly, at first, I was hesitant to go since it was very distant from where I will be coming from, but upon arriving at The Filinvest Tent Alabang, I was glad that I changed my mind about coming. It was a surprising scene. A good kind of surprise! It was a refreshing sight to see that this wasn't like the normal car shows we usually see. No loud music, no photographers gagging over a car show model. The cars over there spoke for themselves. Tuners, Classics, Exotics and Stock cars. Name it, they got it.

Grip Auto Show was founded by Aggressive Line Events and Phoenix Event Management and the event was planned with the idea in mind to promote the local motor sports such as drift, circuit, formula and karting.
The variety of the cars was really something. No exaggerated cars, just subtle but aggressive looking ones.

In the end, all I can say is that we need more car shows like Grip!
