(2) Millennium Rarity

    As a car tuner or enthusiast, you have cars that you look up to at one time or another. Cars that make you do what you do and serve as an inspiration to you. You only see these dream cars or builds on the internet most of the time. It is even rarer to meet the people behind the buids. 

The feature today is a Honda s2000, worthy of praise and admiration from its peers. As a bonus for us, we get the to chance to meet and become friends with the owner of this lusted ride.

On the day of our shoot, the owner, Henry Chua, arrived at the meeting place with his better half. I said to myself he's such a lucky man having a head turner of a ride and a very supportive missus. I mean, what more can a car guy ask for, right? 

Henry is no stranger to Hondas. Before he got this s2000, he tastefully built a Honda EG hatch with all the Mugen goodies you could wish for. He definitely has good taste in cars and surely knows what he's doing. 

Now onto the AP1. As we all know, the s2000 was never formally sold in the Philippines by Honda, thus is very rare. Can you imagine the scarcity of parts here in the Philippines? Building a solid JDM s2000 in our country is not an easy task and we commend Henry for doing his best in his build.

Carbon fiber goodies are seen all over the car. Hood, trunk, custom front and side splitters and wing. Yes, those are all carbon fiber, but what sets this s2000 apart from the rest is a carbon fiber Mugen hardtop.

Slip inside the cabin and you see a pair of Bride Zeta 3 bucket seats, Defi gauges and a Mugen shiftknob.

Henry's future plans are a set of 17" staggered Almight Grey Regamasters (which a little birdie told me he already has), Spoon calipers, Spoon body kit, Spoonsteering wheel, a few other Spoon goodies and finally a repaint. Just the thought makes us even more excited because we are sure it will definitely stand out even more! 

Before we end this, Henry would like to let his better half, Miss Aireen, how thankful he is for her being so supportive to him in all his car NEEDS and if ever she ever wants to surprise him with some of the aforementioned list, he is all for it!
